Yes, Jumpy. But what the Murdoch propaganda rags don't say is that Shorten is in front in Newspoll, apparently.
Mind you, I agree Shorten isn't up to it. I said that somewhere after his first appearance as leader. The Parliamentary Labor Party should have had the good sense to follow with the rank and file and go with Albanese.

I don't think Bill expects to lead ALP into the next election.
My crystal ball reckons he'll step aside for " family reasons " and put Tanya up.
But that's a long long way away.

I'm always suspicious of ANY polls based on the two-party-preferred swindle; wonder what the results would be if the poll was actually an open one?

Tanya Plibersek as PM, Chris Bowen as Treasurer, Anthony Albanese as Defence Minister? Heck, that really would delay the demise of the ALP.
